The effect of continuing nursing on postoperative rehabilitation quality of patients with destructive hand trauma

  • Objective To investigate the effect of continuing nursing on postoperative rehabilitation quality of patients with destructive hand trauma,to provide nursing direction for the postoperative rehabilitation of patients with destructive hand trauma,and to provide help for clinics. Methods One hundred and fifty-eight cases of patients with destructive hand trauma from November,2013 to June,2014 in Zhoushan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as study subject,and divided into observation group and control group by completely random method,with 79 cases in each group.Patients in observation group were given continue nursing after discharge,and patients in control group only given conventional telephone interviews.he satisfaction table was made,and the transplant survival rate,patients'satisfaction on flap appearance and remaining function of injured finger,and depression status of two groups were compared and analyzed,to investigate the effect of continuing nursing on postoperative rehabilitation quality of patients with destructive hand trauma. Results The survival rate of observation group was 87.34%,which was significantly higher than that of control group 56.96%,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).he satisfaction of observation group was 98.73,which was significantly higher than that of the control group 44.30%,with a statistical significance (P<0.05).Patients in observation group consisted of no depressed patients,and the total score was 49.08±12.25;patients in control group consisted of moderate depression patients,and the total score was 67.37±8.23,and there were significant difference when comparing the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Continuing nursing had advantages in improving the survival rate of rebuilding or transplanting broken fingers,patients'satisfaction,mood stability and reducing the depression,helping to restore the work and life of patients with destructive hand trauma.
