  • Hyperhidrosis is a common clinical manifestation that may occur independently or as a concomitant symptom of systemic diseases, significantly impacting an individual's daily life, work, social interactions, and psychological well-being. Currently, China lacks large-scale epidemiological data on hyperhidrosis, and there is no unified diagnostic criteria or severity grading system, leading to inconsistent clinical judgments for the same condition. This consensus, oriented towards the diagnosis, treatment, and management of hyperhidrosis, systematically elaborates on its definition, epidemiological characteristics, etiology, and pathogenesis. It reviews diagnostic methods, including detailed history taking, physical examination, assessment tools, and diagnostic procedures, and provides a detailed exposition of treatment principles, protocols, and interventions. Furthermore, this consensus proposes recommendations for the comprehensive management of hyperhidrosis, covering community management, follow-up, bidirectional referral, health education, and future research directions. The aim is to provide standardized and normalized guidance for general practitioners and relevant medical professionals, thereby improving the accuracy of etiological diagnosis, optimizing treatment outcomes, and enhancing patients'quality of life.
