Objective To investigate the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on insomnia and anxiety in patients after cerebral apoplexy.
Methods Altogether 168 patients with insomnia and anxiety after cerebral apoplexy from the department of neurology in our hospital were selected and divided into 2 groups,with 84 cases in the control group receiving conventional nursing and 84 cases in the experiment group receiving comprehensive nursing intervention on the basis of the control group,including psychological care,rehabilitation training,diet care,bedtime care and drug care.The psychological state,sleep quality,cognitive function,neural function and motor function,and the clinical efficacy were compared after intervention.
Results Compared with those in the control group,the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA),depression scale (HAMD),Zung's self rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and self rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores were lower after intervention,the number of wake up,sleep latency and Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) score were lower,the total sleep time and sleep efficiency were higher after intervention,the condensed mental state scale (MMSE),simple Fugl-Meyer motor function score (FMA) scores were higher,and the stroke neural function defect scale (CNS) score was lower after intervention (
P<0.05) in the experiment group.The effective rate in the control group (82.14%) was lower than that in the experiment group (95.24%),with significant difference (
P<0.05).
Conclusion The comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively relieve the anxiety in patients with insomnia and anxiety after cerebral apoplexy,improve sleep quality,cognitive function,neural function and motor function,and improve the quality of life of patients,with exact nursing effect
