Objective To investigate the rate of satisfaction of teachers from 7 national resident standardized training based hospitals of Guangxi to student's comprehensive vocational abilities,to find out the possible problems and discuss feasible countermeasures.
Methods With a self-designed questionnaire,we conducted a survey in 533 teachers from 7 of the first national standardized residency training bases.The questionnaire includes two parts:general situation (gender,age,education,etc.) and evaluation content (professional ethics,interpersonal communication and teamwork ability,clinical professional ability,teaching and research capacity,etc.).With 5 Likert scale method,the responses to the questions were given 5 to 1 score points from positive to negative.The data were collected using Epidata 3.1 to establish the database,and using SPSS 20.0 statistical software for statistical description,
t test and variance analysis.
Results A total of 560 questionnaires were distributed,and we recovered 535,with a recovery rate of 95.5%.The number of valid questionnaire was 533 with an effective rate 99.6%.The survey indicated that 533 teachers thought highly of the comprehensive occupation ability of residents,and the average was 4.17 points.Professional ethics scored 4.44 points.Communication skills scored 4.15 points.Clinical ability scored 4.04 points.Scientific research ability scored 3.64 points.Different gender,age,education,professional title,hospital and department of the overall satisfaction score were different,and
P values were 0.474,0.328,0.872,0.945,0.466,0.123 via t test and analysis of variance,and the difference was not statistically significant.
Conclusion The overall satisfaction of professional ethics of Guangxi hospital training physicians is high.Interpersonal communication and coordination ability is relatively strong,clinical professional ability is passable,while teaching and scientific research ability is weak.
