Abstract: Objective To study the application of quality control circle and deming circle application in nursing quality management. Methods QCC activity was studied in eight pilot departments form July,2013 in the second affiliated hospital of Mudanjiang Medical College.The PDCA cycle was used in clinical nursing quality management and achieved a good result.All nursing unit carried out QCC activity from December,2015.This study randomly selected hospitalized 600 patients as control group during 1-6 month in,2013 randomly selected hospitalized 600 patients as observation group from during 7-12 months after hospital treatment,and compared two groups of patient care quality management effect. Results Forty-five nursing unit has established 68 QCC groups.The complete target set was 65,and reaching standard was 95.59%,the number of standardized work processes and rules was 51,and formed a long-term quality of care management mechanism.After QCC activity,the hospital health education in nursing documents writing,ward management,awareness,technical operation level were significantly higher than the activities before QCC activity;the rate of nursing mistakes and accidents decrease 2.33% to 0.83%;the rate of patient satisfaction increase 95.33% to 97.83%,U=3.226,P<0.05.The differences of implement QCC activity of two groups in patients before and after the nursing quality management effect were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of qc circle and deming circle joint application in nursing was beneficial to enhance nurses consciousness of management,promote the initiative of nurses work and creativity,improve the comprehensive quality of nurses,and gradually improve the quality management system,create a new situation of the nursing quality management,it is worth to promote the use in the clinical nursing work.
