Abstract:
Objective To explore thetrainingmanagementmethod of thepainnursingteam,in order to promote the process of the pain assessment andthe quality of the pain management in the hospital.
Methods By forming the pain nursing team,figuring out the framework,buildingteamresponsibilities,and establishing the constitution of the pain nursing care,inspection standards of the pain assessment quality,institutions of the health education,and the professional training according to the existingaccreditation criteria and the JCI Standard,then getting team members involved in improving quality of pain management.Nurses’painmanagementknowledge,attitudes toward pain management and the accuracies of pain assessment were compared in the before and after the intervention.
Results Before interventions,the average correct rate about the nurses’ knowledge of pain management and the attitude questionnaire was (43.81±5.32)%,and the percent of pass was 2.22%.After interventions,the average correct rate was (65.36±3.51)%,and the percent of pass was 38.89%.There was a big difference between the very beginning and after a year of training(χ
2=60.96,
P<0.001).After series of interventions,nurses’ knowledge of pain management,the scores of the attitude questionnaire and the accuraciesof pain assessment were all better than before (
P<0.001).
Conclusion Forming the pain nursingteam,then according to the existing standards,training the nurses by the training of trainers model,could enrich nurses’ knowledge of pain care and the care skills,improve the qualification rate of pain assessment and improve the curative effect of patients with pain,and improve the hospital’s quality of pain management.
