Abstract: Objective To analyze the data of patient counseling for drugs and cardiovascular outpatient prescription,explore the clinical intervention effect of clinical medication consultation service. Methods The cardiovascular outpatient prescriptions in our situation during January to December in 2014 were collected. The clinical pharmacists in our hospital have been specially trained to provide consulting services for clinical medicine，have a specially knowledge of medicine,medical background and knowledge of medicine.They recorded the specific information of the patients aim at medicine consulting.Data on patient’s compliance had been evaluated. Results During 2014 in clinical consulting medicine clinics,a total of 3 640 patient’s consulting in cardiovascular outpatient clinics,was accounting for 26.4% of the number of cardiovascular outpatient service patients.More patients with education of middle school or ages higher than 60 years old had a much higher percentage in the rate of patients consulting(P＜0.05).Cardiovascular consulting information in outpatients was a total of 4 720.In consultation content,87.6% of counseling problems involved the drugs of lipid-lowering and blood pressure.For lipid-lowering drugs,patients payed more attention to the usage and dosage,drug prices,side effects(P＜0.05);On blood pressure medication,patients pay more attention to the usage and dosage,side effects and coverage ratio(P＜0.05).Overall,96.2% of cardiology clinic patients can basic prescribed medication in year of 2014.It was a statistically significant difference comparing with the data before 2010 which was 53.9% of patients with compliance(P＜0.05). Conclusion Clinical medication consultation service can provides medical and drug background knowledge to patients,also basic understanding of drug used,and it’s known possible side effects or unknown possible adverse reaction,and the methods of taking medicine,the rational use of drugs,to cultivate patients with a good habits and compliance with the doctor’s advice.
