Expression and significance of plasma Aβ1-40, blood lipid and inflammatory indexes in Alzheimer's disease

目的 探讨血浆β淀粉样蛋白1-40(Aβ1-40)、血脂及炎性指标在老年阿尔茨海默病患者中的表达及临床意义。 方法 选择2017年6月—2019年10月台州市第一人民医院接诊的老年阿尔茨海默病患者93例作为观察组,依据ADAS-Cog表分组:53例轻度(ADAS-Cog评分<20分),40例中重度(ADAS-Cog评分≥20分)。另选择同期于本院行健康体检的50例正常老年人作为对照组,通过酶联免疫吸附试验检测血浆Aβ1-40、炎性指标[白细胞介素1β(IL-1β)、白细胞介素6(IL-6)、肿瘤坏死因子α(TNF-α)]表达,并经全自动生化分析仪检测血脂[三酰甘油(TG)、高密度脂蛋白(HDL)、胆固醇(TC)、低密度脂蛋白(LDL)]表达。 结果 观察组患者血浆Aβ1-40、IL-1β、IL-6、TNF-α表达均比对照组高[(109.37±8.52)pg/mL vs. (93.48±7.23)pg/mL、(49.53±6.09)pg/mL vs. (30.51±7.46)pg/mL、(170.87±12.71)pg/mL vs. (75.15±8.27)pg/mL、(65.93±5.72)pg/mL vs. (36.70±5.24)pg/mL,均P < 0.05];2组HDL水平对比差异无统计学意义(均P>0.05);观察组患者血脂TG、TC、LDL水平均比对照组高(均P<0.05);中重度组患者血浆Aβ1-40、IL-1β、IL-6、TNF-α表达水平均比轻度组高(均P<0.05);轻度组、中重度组血脂指标TG、HDL、TC、LDL水平对比差异无统计学意义(均P>0.05)。 结论 血浆Aβ1-40、血脂及炎性因子表达与老年阿尔茨海默病病情严重程度密切相关,可为临床评估老年阿尔茨海默病病情进展提供参考依据。 -

Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of plasma β-amyloid 1-40 (Aβ1-40), blood lipids and inflammatory indexes in elderly patients with Alzheimer's disease. Methods A total of 93 cases of elderly patients with Alzheimer's disease in Taizhou First People's Hospital from June 2017 to October 2019 were selected as the observation group. All patients were grouped according to the ADAS-Cog table: 53 cases were mild (ADAS-Cog score < 20 points), and 40 cases were moderate to severe (ADAS-Cog score ≥ 20 points). In addition, 50 normal elderly people who underwent health examinations in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. The expression of plasma Aβ1-40 and inflammatory indicators [interleukin 1β (IL-1β), IL-6, tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)] were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and the expression of blood lipids [triacylglycerol (TG), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein (LDL)] were detected by a fully automatic biochemical analyser. Results The expressions of plasma Aβ1-40, IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α were higher in the observation group than in the control group [(109.37±8.52) pg/mL vs. (93.48±7.23) pg/mL, (49.53±6.09) pg/mL vs. (30.51±7.46) pg/mL, (170.87±50.71) pg/mL vs. (75.15±45.27) pg/mL, (65.93±5.72) pg/mL vs. (36.70±5.24) pg/mL, all P < 0.05]. No statistically significant difference was observed in the HDL levels between the two groups of patients (all P>0.05). The blood lipid levels of TG, TC and LDL were higher in the observation group than in the control group (all P < 0.05). The levels of plasma Aβ1-40, IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α were higher in the moderate to severe group than in the mild group (all P < 0.05). No significant difference were observed in the levels of serum TG, HDL, TC and LDL in the mild and moderate groups (all P>0.05). Conclusion The expressions of plasma Aβ1-40, blood lipids and inflammatory factors are closely related to the severity of Alzheimer's disease in the elderly, which can provide reference for the clinical evaluation of the progress of Alzheimer's disease in the elderly. -
